A post script, especially to the boys mothers!

As Eric Pobee told us in one Bible study: " In the movies, they sometimes say, " One. Moment. Later.    That is how I'm feeling with this added PS!! 😂
Sunday evening, around the supper table, talk all of a sudden centered around, what Thomas had beheld when he was here in the unit. Of a couch being brought onto a subway train. So then 4 guys with mischievous gleams in their eyes, said let's do it.....so from the basement emerged 2 old recliners!! 2 boys each to one recliner...and Clay went along for moral support, but ended up claiming to be embarrassed of his friends! They carried them to the subway, and they said, people at the Comedy club right next to Subway said, " they are stealing furniture" No hollered Tyson, they are ours! So onto to the subway train, they went....I will leave you to imagine, if they reclined in them or not!! Out at 116....they had a offer of 100 bucks for the one!!! We say, next time...sell it! Although they are not worth that by any means. Met up with a lady, happened to be her birthday, she sat in the chair and guys sang Happy birthday to her. Brought them back home and safely back in basement. The boys came back upstairs and were just sweating.... it's hard work sometimes for fun!!!! 😂
Clay also said that he watched this family, come out of the subway....the little boy said, " Taco....his mommy said where- what....she says no boy, that is the 🌙 ( moon!!) 😂

NYC- first impressions

So....where does a person start? The last couple days at home were good! Our children Doyle, Monica and their family ( our grandies) came to spend some days with us. Arriving in time to help move the heavy furniture upstairs. Have you ever walked through your empty house, especially the main floor, without a lot of mixed feelings.... that is how I found the last days to be, so mixed up! Excited, scared, sad and yet wanting to move on with what God has for us in life. We dumped ourselves and our suitcases into Charles house and lives and they graciously took care of us. Goodbyes all around and a delightful Thanksgiving spent with family.  Saturday November 30 did roll around... after waiting for 10 months or so.... left Charles house early to catch our first flight out of Wichita. Hello from 762 St. Nicholas Ave... A list of my thankful 's and my happy place  1. My first breakfast and supper are over with AND it was fun! 2. " Our" boys, we love them and the way they are so good and easy.....I know that telling Randy's goodbye was hard for them, and yet they welcomed us and we feel like a unit. 3. The singing...I truly feel sorry for you all, who can't hear the chorus coming from our little apartment this evening, heavenly...how did we get so lucky, to have a perfect quartet. 4. Laughs and lots of talking at meals...even breakfast! 5. Wednesday evening Bible study, sing- out and supper around our table....Rogers, Clays and Allister made it happen... And the list goes on and on.... And now for a little update on our lives since Sunday... Monday.....so Randy, Roger and Ron...O did you see they are all R's?? Anyway, they went to the bank....did all the things that were needful for Ron to also be on the books. Rachel and I were deep into fin...
